Virtual Interviewee Says He’ll Give 110% Proving He Has Poor Math Skills
Paducah, KY—"Sure I have marketing experience in both CPG and service companies and D2C and B2B roles,” said Chad Brewer as he cruised through his virtual interview. He threw out every acronym he could think of and it was obvious the interviewers were impressed. Chad continued to wow them adding that he’s a team player, a go-getter, and he’s one who likes to push the envelope. Witnesses say Chad was crushing it until saying that he’d give 110%. “Chad, that’s not physically possible, said Bob Butler, who was one of two people interviewing Chad for the position of Associate Marketing Manager. “If you can’t calculate the right percentage you plan to contribute to the company, how will you be able to measure revenue growth?” It was then that Chad knew his chances of getting this job were slim at best and that his poor math skills had once again cost him success.
